400 tech jobs announced across 8 companies in Dublin, Cork and Galway

One of Ireland’s largest jobs announcements in recent months has revealed 400 jobs are to be created across eight tech operations in Dublin, Cork and Galway by both North American and European companies.

The new jobs to be created by IDA Ireland client companies are expected to be spread across a number of sectors, including software development, telecoms and internet, as well as digital and social media.

The largest single number of jobs comes from N3 Results. The global sales execution and digital marketing firm is expected to fill 100 knowledge-based jobs over the next three to five years in its Dublin office.

Jeff Laue, CEO of N3, said the company considers Ireland the ‘gateway to Europe’.

“Our growth (in Europe) is representative of the explosion in the global market, which we expect will account for more than 60pc of our business by 2019,” said Laue.

“The availability of a highly educated workforce with multiple language skills, coupled with such a favourable climate for conducting business, makes Dublin an ideal city for us to grow and thrive in.”
