Process Optimisation Lead

The Site Process Optimisation Lead will work with the Site Manager to achieve Site targets and deliver continuous Process Improvement. He/she will work closely with all functions on site to meet production targets, quality, environmental, people, H&S & cost objectives on a day to day basis and in doing so will be a key person in driving site performance. Reporting to the Site Manager, this person will be a core part of the site’s management team, liaising directly with both internal and external stakeholders on all relevant aspects of the business


  1. Work collaboratively with all site functions to deliver high performance and continually look to identify opportunities to eliminate waste and reduce process variation.
  2. Promote a safety culture within the site and operates with full adherence to all Environmental, Health & Safety standards and procedures;
  3. Promote a culture of excellence by ensuring all plant equipment, automation systems, projects and processes operate to a standard that does not compromise defined quality standards or right first-time production and that any changes are made in accordance with the change control procedures;
  4. Optimise plant performance to facilitate delivery of required volumes and address any plant inefficiencies.
  5. Delivery of projects that support the business strategy and site performance.
  6. Support Process Improvement Initiatives through optimisation of existing processes and implementation of capital projects

  6. A positive, can-do, resilient and flexible attitude.

Qualification Required:

  • Qualification in a relevant discipline (Engineering, Food Science ) 5+ years experience. Automation Experience desirable.
