Human Resources Manager


The Human Resources Manager is a member of the Leadership Team and responsible for all aspects of Human Resource Management of the business by developing, leading, and implementing a wide range of HR initiatives within the company. Key HR objectives include building and developing a positive work environment, leading, managing and supporting change aligned with the business and organisational objectives.


  • Manage the administration of the Human Resources Department and associated activities.
  • Develop HR policies and procedures for the company
  • Review and monitor current legislation affecting the company and ensure compliance with same.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection of personnel in conjunction with department managers.
  • Assist department heads and managers in meeting human resource management needs and goals.
  • Provide strategic direction to ensure alignment between business objectives and compensation and reward programmes.
  • Control performance and salary reviews to ensure consistency and manage the administration of employee benefits.
  • Design, drive and deliver Learning and Development plans and programs across the business ensuring all employees receive the necessary Induction and Learning/Development to carry out their work safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure all employee training is documented and training records are maintained.
  • Assess opportunities for the improvement of the organisation
  • Drive Organizational Effectiveness initiatives, including competency development, talent planning, succession management, employee retention, change management and process improvement


  • Ideally 10 years’ experience as a HR Professional, preferably in a manufacturing operation.
  • Ideally 3 years’ experience in a senior management position as head of HR function
  • Third Level Diploma or Degree in a business or HR related discipline.
  • Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD)
