Micheál Coughlan
Managing Partner

Micheál began his career with InterSearch Ireland in 1996, becoming Managing Partner in 2010. He has mainly worked with private sector clients, both multinational and SMEs designing and implementing recruitment strategies for leadership and management appointments. His key strengths are supporting manufacturing organisations with Site Leader and Head of Function roles. Many of his assignments involve international executive search, sourcing talent globally for executive/management vacancies in Ireland. He also supports clients located in Ireland seeking to appoint talent in international operations. Micheál has project managed successful appointments in 20+ Countries.

He is the initiator of the InterSearch Life Sciences & Healthcare Practice Group, supporting clients and candidates within the pharmaceutical, medical technologies and healthcare sectors. Micheál joined the Academy team in 2013 where he is responsible for training and development of talent within the InterSearch Worldwide organisation. Micheál joined the InterSearch Worldwide Board of Directors in 2017 where he is responsible for the strategic direction and successful operation of the global network, with particular focus on building capability within the global practice group structure.

Micheál holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from NUI Galway and a master’s degree in human resources management from the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

Stephanie Ryan
Executive Search Consultant

Stephanie has worked with InterSearch since 2005 and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to each assignment. She coordinates client assignments, predominantly in the private sector area with both multinational and SMEs. She liaises internally with the Partner, Researcher and Administrator to ensure each executive search assignment is delivered to a high standard. Stephanie reviews all potential candidates and assesses them against the criteria agreed with the client. She maintains regular communication with both clients and candidates during each assignment to ensure maximum engagement and information sharing.

A graduate from University College Dublin, Stephanie holds an Honours Degree in Economics & Politics, a Masters in Economic Science and a Higher Diploma in Education.

Anthony Carrig
Executive Search Researcher

Anthony began his career with InterSearch Ireland in 2013, joining first as an Administrator after finishing 4 years in Athlone Institute of Technology. With the guidance of the InterSearch Ireland team, in 2016 Anthony went on to becoming an Executive Search Researcher.

As a Researcher, Anthony identifies potential candidates as well as making initial approaches in respect of a broad range of senior level client assignments. His experience encompasses sourcing site Leaders and Head of Function roles across industry sectors such as Medical Device, Pharma, Healthcare and Broader Manufacturing.

Eimear O’Driscoll
Executive Search Researcher

Eimear began her career with InterSearch Ireland in 2017. Her role as an executive search researcher involves collaborating with the project team, taking assignment briefs, and coordinating her research to source and forge relationships with suitable candidates for multiple senior management roles. These roles are mainly within the private sector, supporting organisations within the medical device, pharmaceutical, and manufacturing industries. She also manages InterSearch Ireland’s social media marketing, developing and implementing strategies for InterSearch Ireland’s social media channels.

Eimear holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Music from Maynooth University, a MBS from Athlone Institute of Technology, and is a member of the Midlands CIPD committee. One of the key interests she has developed through her academic and professional experience is analysing what drives individuals towards certain organisations and the impact an unfulfilled psychological contract can have on their intention to consider other opportunities.

Outside of work, Eimear continues to develop her passion for music and teaches weekly piano lessons, a commitment of hers for the last 8 years after achieving her Diploma with the London Victorian College of Music.
