To hire an operations manager, with potential to grow in the business and be a successor to the Site Manager. Must be able to drive continuous improvement within the site and work functionally with other teams.


InterSearch Ireland were retained to recruit the Operations Manager. Micheál Coughlan, Managing Partner of InterSearch Ireland was the appointed Project Manager. He prepared the project plan which involved a mapping of the medical devices industry in Ireland.

This mapping was undertaken by a dedicated Researcher who prepared a long-list of current employers and candidates with the right profiles. All potential candidates with previous operations management experience were approached, assessed and screened, resulting in a shortlist of four candidates for the client.



A candidate was hired within commuting distance of the site. They came with a 1st class honours engineering degree and MBA showing the necessary motivations to advance further.
