Key Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for Commercial, Financial and Operational performance of the business, including delivery of profit targets, margin management, focused cost control, management of operational & customer metrics.
- Strong focus on management of energy, raw material and labour costs.
- Development of an overall strategy for the business and to lead the implementation of agreed strategic initiatives for the business. This should include medium- and long-term view for the business including sustainability, innovation and required capital plans elements and market growth opportunities for the business.
- Continue to deepen relationships with customers re service, product development, quality and business issues.
Develop the Commercial arm to drive innovation and added value for the business. - Leading and developing the sales and marketing capacity and capability to optimise sales growth and margin.
Manage the overall operational performance ensuring continued focus on increasing quality and excellence in customer service. - Manage a cross functional management team to deliver objectives covering Operations, Procurement, Finance, Commercial, People, Quality and Customer Service.
Leading and embedding a Continuous Improvement culture through meaningful engagement and participation of employees to deliver outstanding business performance by way of service quality and control of unit costs. - Coach and provide leadership to drive a high-performance culture through a proactive approach to people development with effective communication at all levels.
- Leading and managing effective and sustainable organisational change.
- Managing all capital expenditure for the business.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Customer Focused with strong commercial acumen and a minimum of 10 years relevant Leadership experience in a similar manufacturing business.
- Excellent negotiation skills in a commercial context.
- Experience of building relationships and influencing outcomes with stakeholders.
- Experience and Knowledge of International business to business sector and in a highly regulated environment like Agribusiness.

Global Project Manager - Hybrid working could be 1 day per week on site with the remainder from home (or for highly experienced candidates 1-2 days per month on site).
This is a highly regulated contract manufacturing environment. The role holds overall responsibility for planning, execution, problem escalation and project completion, whilst ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction for multiple international manufacturing sites. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party suppliers to deliver projects, as well as communicating threats and successes to customer stakeholders (up to and including senior executive level).
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage project development during the entire project life cycle.
- Develop a project Statement of Work, assemble the project team, clearly define project deliverables, resource requirements, risks and assumptions.
- Develop full-scale project timelines.
- Document risks, assess and develop response strategies.
- Serve as a central point of contact for the customer.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders.
- Set and continually manage project expectations with customers, team members and other stakeholders.
Identify and resolve issues and conflicts. - Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and complete ownership of project success.
What We’re Looking For:
- ESSENTIAL - Experience in a Project Management role within a contract manufacturing environment that has involved direct interaction with the CUSTOMER is essential.
- ESSENTIAL - Experience of contract manufacturing environments within a highly regulated sector (Medical Device / Pharmaceutical or closely related industry) is essential.
- Experience in planning and reporting activities.
- CAPM or PMP certification preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.

- Expertise in injection moulding, automated assembly equipment and packaging machinery is highly desirable.Knowledge of utility operations (compressors, chillers, dust extraction) is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with Quality processes such as Process Control, Change Management, Root Cause Analysis, and Validation.
- Proven leadership experience, with a track record of driving performance and cultural change.
- Continuous Improvement mindset (CI certification desirable).
- Degree in Engineering/Mechanical Engineering
