Micheál joined Gerard O’Malley & Associates in Cork in 1996, the same year the organisation became the Irish partner of InterSearch. He initially recruited professionals and junior managers in the Munster region. In 2003, he was appointed a Director of the business and relocated to Athlone to establish an office supporting clients in the Midlands and West. In 2007, Micheál was appointed Deputy Managing Director and in 2010 he acquired the business and became Managing Director. The company name changed to InterSearch Ireland to reflect the global nature of the business. Micheál remains based in Athlone and supports clients across the country.
Micheál mainly supports clients in the Life Science sector (pharmaceutical, medical device and CRO) plus all forms of manufacturing industry. Positions recruited typically include General Manager and Head of Functional positions. He is Head of the Life Science Practice Group within InterSearch Worldwide where he coordinates the work of consultants in various countries supporting clients in the industry sector. He is also a member of the InterSearch Training Academy, responsible for learning and development upskilling within the global organisation.

Duncan moved to Ireland in 2008 after 13 years in executive search and selection in the UK. He joined InterSearch in 2011 to grow the board level public sector recruitment business, bringing specialist knowledge within Health, Education, Technology and Not for Profit sectors. Since joining he has recruited a wide range of senior Irish roles including University Professor and Chair appointments as well as Director roles in the Energy/Smart Technology sector, several of which have been international placements. He has also delivered executive search services for Director level Healthcare roles across the UK and further afield.
Duncan’s earlier track record includes Chief Executive and Chair appointments, Director roles in Operations, Finance, IT, HR, Facilities and Corporate Services, specialist clinical roles including Medical Director, Nursing Director and Medical Consultant positions, as well as senior regulatory body appointments in Health and Energy. Duncan has a degree in Psychology from University of Reading and a Masters in Occupational Psychology from University of Cardiff. Duncan is Lay Member of the Pain Faculty in the College of Anaesthetists of Ireland, Secretary of his local school’s parents association and Treasurer of a local sports club.

Stephanie coordinates client assignments, mainly in the private sector area. She liaises internally with the Partner, Researcher and Administrator to ensure each executive search assignment is delivered to a high standard. Stephanie reviews all potential candidates and assesses them against the criteria agreed with the client. She has worked with InterSearch since 2005 and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to each assignment. Stephanie maintains regular communication with both clients and candidates during each assignment to ensure maximum engagement and information sharing. Stephanie has an Honours degree in Economics & Politics, a Masters in Economic Science and a Higher Diploma in Education from University College Dublin.
Anthony coordinates the research to identify prospective candidates as well as making initial approaches in respect of a broad range of senior level client assignments. His experience encompasses sourcing candidates across industry sectors such as Medical Device, Pharma, Healthcare and Academia. Anthony has worked with InterSearch since 2013 and is adept at using the latest online technology, industry journals, professional networking sites and additional research resources. Anthony holds a Business in Tourism and Sports Degree from Athlone Institute of Technology. He has previously worked in the tourism and hospitality industry.
Clementina Mustapha moved to Ireland in 2005. She holds a BSc. degree in Library Science Education from the Delta State University in Nigeria and has worked as a Reference Librarian in the Central Bank of Nigeria and in the commercial banking sector prior to her relocation to Ireland.
She also holds a BA in Applied Addiction Studies and Masters in Business degree from the Athlone Institute of Technology. Clementina has a diverse work experience ranging from banking to community development and business.
She joined InterSearch Ireland as a Researcher in November 2016 and is one of the company’s Executive Search Researchers. With a good background in academic research and understanding of the significance of best practice in human resource management, Clementina works with the InterSearch team to identify relevant talents using various social media tools and Search software.
